Entrance Requirements

Students of all ages are welcome, but an intermediate level of proficiency is required. All participants should have a minimum of three or four years of study on your instrument and be able to read music.

Violinists and violists should be roughly at a minimum level of Suzuki Book 4. They should be able to play comfortably in first and third positions.

Cellists should be able to play comfortably in first and fourth positions.

Fees and Payment for 2010

  • Tuition with three graduate credits ‒ $1,020.00 (for adults only)

Meals

For commuters, the dining rooms at the Student Union Building will be open for lunch and dinner. Starbucks, and Subway in the same building will also be open.

Dormitory Accommodations

  • Supervised dormitory accommodations with meals included will be available at the Duquesne University dormitories.
  • The minimum age for dormitory residents is 13.
